The INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL FOR COMPUTATIONAL CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING is committed to upholding international standards of publication ethics that are presented, in particular in recommended guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics. The Editorial Staff of the Journal adheres to principles of publishing ethics accepted by the Association of Science Editors and Publishers (Russia) (Declaration of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers).    

The prevention of unethical publication practices (malpractice, stating unreliable information and other forms of research misconduct), the ensuring the high quality of academic publications, public acceptance of an author’s research results are the responsibilities of the editor or any editorial staff, the author, a reviewer, publishers, as well as institutions involved in the publication operation. All the aforementioned ones are required to follow ethical standards, norms and regulations and to take all rational measures to prevent their violation.

  1. Publication and authorship:
  • all papers are checked against plagiarism and fraudulent data
  • comprehensive list of references is obligatory
  • financial support of a research is indicated (if applicable)
  • the Journal do not accept papers already published in other editions 
  1. Authors' responsibilities:
  • authors are obliged to accept the peer review process
  • all authors of a paper are asked to state that they have significantly contributed to the research
  • authors are asked to state that all data in the paper are real and authentic
  • authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes
  1. Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers: 
  • editors ask the reviewers to produce the objective judgments
  • editors check that the reviewers have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders
  • reviewers are asked to point out relevant published work which is not yet cited
  • reviewed papres are treated confidentially (a double-blind peer review process is used)
  • the Journal preserves anonymity of the reviewers

  1. Editors’ responsibilities:
  • editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject or accept the papers basing on the conclusion of the respective peer review
  • editors have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept
  • the Editorial Board accepts only the papers on which it has certain and unambiguous opinion
  • when errors are found the Journal publishes necessary correction or retraction in its nearest issues

  • the Journal’s Editorial Board is monitoring / safeguarding publishing ethics
  • editors have the guidelines for retracting articles
  • editors maintain the integrity of the academic record
  • editors preclude business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards
  • the Journal publishes corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed editors do their best to exclude plagiarism raudulent data
